Fitness & Performance Coach
I was an overweight baseball player when I started high school. I was introduced to strength training, learned some things about nutrition and quickly started to lose weight. I focused more attention on proper training and nutrition and I became a stronger, quicker baseball player. This is when I became passionate about training.
I started at West Chester University as a computer science major. It’s what my father did and I was going to follow in his footsteps. But my passion for understanding how the body works drove me to change my major. In May 2016, I graduated from WCU with a degree in exercise science and a minor in nutrition.
As a former athlete, who started as an overweight athlete, I am hoping I can make an impact on anyone with a similar situation. I know what it feels like to be the “big” kid and I want to help other kids understand the power of proper training and nutrition. I enjoy helping our adult clients as well. They present with different challenges, but I still can help them change their lives. It’s my goal to help everyone lead healthier lives both mentally and physically. What could be better than turning my passion into a career? As for the computer science classes I took? They come in handy when my Grandmom thinks she broke her computer, again.
