Athletic Trainer | Fitness & Performance Coach

For as long as I can remember exercise and physical activity have been a part of my life. At a very young age I was exposed to the sport of gymnastics and never looked back. All through grade school and middle school, my parents tried to get me into others sports such as soccer and basketball, but nothing ever compared to gymnastics.
I was a competitive gymnast for 12 years, including three years at the collegiate level. In 2009 I attended Wilson College as an Exercise Science major, where I competed on the gymnastics team for three years (team captain in 2011) and was a member of the women’s lacrosse team.
In 2012 I transferred to Immaculata University and majored in Athletic Training. Immaculata does not have a gymnastics program, therefore that was something I needed to give up, but I was a member of the women’s lacrosse team for three years.
I completed my Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training at Immaculata University in 2015. I passed my Board of Certification Athletic Training Exam in 2016, and am currently a certified athletic trainer (ATC).
I started at Marino’s as a client and soon joined the coaching team. I experienced the same insecurities as some clients feel when they start a new fitness program. This has allowed me to be more empathetic toward our clients’ needs and I feel it makes me a better coach. I love helping our clients achieve their goals!
I also realized that though my gymnastic career has ended, weight lifting is quickly filling that void. I can physically challenge myself, step outside my comfort zone, learn new things, and achieve my personal goals. My experiences at Marino’s have also helped me become an overall well-rounded ATC. As I work alongside Chris and Rachael, I become more and more knowledgeable in the fitness industry. They have taught me more than I could have ever imagined, and I look forward to being part of this business as Marino’s continues to grow.
